THE BEAN BAG

The Bean Bag is our first collaborative project together with Adella, our friend and the amazing dyer behind LolaBean Yarn Co.

​

We began our friendship in 2019, when our company started, and she has been the most supportive of friends, always sharing her ideas and cheering us on. She soon became someone who we'd ask for opinion and advice, and it was only a matter of time that we would create a new bag together with her.

​

This bag was created in the spirit of solidarity. It is a symbol of empowerment that occurs between women of color as they lift each other up.

​

The Bean Bag concept and design and color scheme were developed by our muse, and we executed as we only know how to: We picked the best materials and finest craftmanship to bring to life this bag that reflects the collaboration between our companies.

It was so important to give it a tag that would also identify these bags as collaborative, so the cute LolaBean + Joji logo was born, and we are so proud to use it for the first time in this design.

 

The Bean Bag is your dream come true: A project bag that works GREAT to knit from (the zipper opens up completely, letting you use it as a bucket, and the fat bottom helps the bag stand on its own) that looks elegant, chic and fabulous when you use it as a purse.

It comes with 2 straps included: A wristlet and a crossbody strap, both removable and interchangeable.

Specs:

100% Argentine leather (suede for the top, hammered leather for the bottom, vachetta leather for the tag and straps). Fully lined in Panama fabric, with a flat pocket on the inside.

Measurements: Wide: 28cm / 11”; Tall: 23 cm / 8¾”; Base: 13 cm / 5”, Strap: Shortest length 110 cm / 44”, with 20 cm / 8” extension. Wristlet: 32 cm / 12¾” circumference.
